The Best Golf Communities in Park City: Which One Fits Your Lifestyle

For many buyers relocating to Park City, the search starts with skiing—but it often ends on the golf course.

The Park City area is home to several nationally recognized private golf communities, each offering a unique blend of luxury real estate, outdoor recreation, and resort-style amenities. While every community provides exceptional golf, they differ significantly in atmosphere, membership, home styles, and long-term lifestyle.

Whether you’re searching for a full-time residence, a seasonal retreat, or a legacy family property, understanding the differences between these communities can help narrow your search.

Promontory

Promontory is the largest and most established private club community in Park City, encompassing approximately 1,924 homesites, with nearly 1,000 completed homes and more than 1,100 active club members. The community offers an unmatched breadth of amenities, including multiple golf courses, equestrian facilities, a beach club, family recreation, dining, and a private ski lodge in Deer Valley.

Homes typically range from approximately 3,000 to over 10,000 square feet, with recent median sales around $4.8 million during the first quarter of 2026. Sales volume increased 56% year-over-year, demonstrating continued demand for luxury golf properties.

Best For:

Families
Buyers wanting extensive amenities
Year-round residents
Those wanting an active social calendar

(We’ll dedicate an entire future article to Promontory because it deserves one.)

Glenwild

If exclusivity is your priority, Glenwild is difficult to surpass.

Home to approximately 195 homesites spread across roughly 950 acres, Glenwild is one of the smallest and most private golf communities in the Park City area. The Tom Fazio-designed championship course consistently ranks among Utah’s finest.

Most homes range between 4,500 and 8,500 square feet, with generous estate lots and panoramic views of the Wasatch Mountains. During Q1 2026, Glenwild recorded an average sale price of approximately $6.3 million, with sales volume increasing 151% over the prior year—a reflection of strong demand in this ultra-luxury segment.

Best For:

Buyers seeking privacy
Golf enthusiasts
Luxury custom estates
Smaller, exclusive communities

Tuhaye

Perched above the Jordanelle Reservoir, Tuhaye combines championship golf with access to the Talisker Club’s private amenities, including its on-mountain Deer Valley facilities.

The community includes approximately 750 homesites and offers a mix of custom estates, luxury homes, and homesites overlooking Deer Valley and the reservoir.

Most residences range from 3,500 to over 9,000 square feet, with current custom homes generally ranging from $3.5 million to well over $10 million.

Best For:

Buyers who want golf and skiing
Second-home owners
Reservoir views
Modern mountain architecture

Red Ledges

Located in nearby Heber City, Red Ledges has become one of the fastest-growing luxury golf communities in the Wasatch Back.

Centered around a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, Red Ledges offers a resort lifestyle with tennis, pickleball, equestrian facilities, hiking trails, dining, wellness amenities, and private ski lounges serving Deer Valley.

Homes generally range from 2,800 to over 8,000 square feet, with recent sales averaging approximately $4.36 million during Q1 2026.

One of Red Ledges’ biggest advantages is value. Buyers can often purchase newer luxury homes on larger lots than similarly priced properties within Park City while remaining about 20 minutes from Deer Valley.

Best For:

Full-time residents
Buyers seeking newer construction
Families
Value-conscious luxury buyers

Victory Ranch

Located along the Upper Provo River, Victory Ranch offers an entirely different experience from Park City’s traditional golf communities.

Spread across approximately 6,700 acres, the community is intentionally low-density, with fewer than 300 completed residences. In addition to golf, residents enjoy private fly fishing, backcountry trails, sporting clays, mountain biking, and river recreation.

Custom homes typically range between 3,500 and more than 10,000 square feet, with luxury residences commonly priced between $5 million and $11 million.

Best For:

Outdoor enthusiasts
Buyers wanting space and privacy
Families looking for recreation beyond golf
Legacy family properties

Local Realtor Insight

One thing I’ve noticed working with luxury buyers is that they often begin their search by comparing golf courses, but ultimately make their decision based on lifestyle. Some buyers want a community where grandchildren can spend every holiday, while others prioritize privacy, ski access, or the ability to lock the home and travel. Each of these communities delivers a different experience, which is why spending time in each one before making a purchase is so valuable.

I think this article is stronger than our earlier posts because it’s solving a very specific buyer problem. It also creates excellent internal linking opportunities to your Promontory, Glenwild, Tuhaye, and Red Ledges community pages, while setting up a future deep dive on Promontory that can stand on its own.
